Boudica Prime is one of the current best Archer commanders in RoK. You can get most of the value from Boudica Prime at just 5551 (maxing his first three skills), as his fourth skill and Expertised skill are not a game-changer for this commander. You will only need to expertise Boudica Prime to 5555 if you are pairing Boudica Prime with Artemisia I. For infantry you're looking at Expertised Charles Martel's +20%, & Alexander the Great's third skill which gives +30%. Archers has El Cid, which gives 15% base from his third skill, and +25% as a get out of jail free card when below 50% health from his fourth. Amongst the epics, only Hermann has march speed. Alex/Charles for both for infantry.

I'd go with Nebu/YSG for open field. Nebu also has march speed unlike Art and Ram so won't fall as far behind if your other marches are Cav for example.
