After a lot of research I recently ordered a workhorse 1975. For me it was the best bang for my buck. I have been using cheap offsets for years and finally got the wife to ok an upgrade. Another factor may be the door weight. Apparently the door isn't that much heavier on the 1975. I have the 1975 and have never regretted it. Especially given that cost difference isn't that much.
